How does the Barry’s Truck Line referral bonus work?
Refer a flatbed owner-operator to us, and when he signs on and sticks with it, you earn $300. It’s paid in two parts: $150 when he completes 90 days and $150 when he reaches 6 months.
There’s no limit. Send us three good operators who stay and that’s $900 in your pocket. Send us five and it’s $1,500.
What does the driver I refer get?
He gets paid too, which makes it an easy conversation to have. A new owner-operator who comes aboard and runs dedicated freight with us earns a $600 sign-on bonus: $300 at 90 days and $300 at 6 months.
Then at his one-year mark, he earns a $600 retention bonus. That’s up to $1,200 his first year, on top of what he makes running.
Why pay drivers to stay, not just to sign?
Because anybody can sign you on. Plenty of carriers will throw money at you on day one and forget your name by day ninety. We’d rather pay you for staying, because a driver who stays is a driver who’s being treated right.
That’s how we’ve done it for over 35 years: steady regional flatbed freight, a real person in dispatch, and weekly settlements. The bonuses just put a number on it.

Who are we looking for?
Flatbed owner-operators in eastern North Carolina and South Carolina who want steady regional freight and weekends at home. We haul lumber, treated lumber, landscape material and palletized goods to distribution centers, construction sites, and stores like Lowe’s and Home Depot. You’ll need your own authority, a 1998 or newer tractor, a 48-foot flatbed (preferred) and a good set of tarps.
